Professional Application Photo Shoot with Milton Arias

A professional application photo is an important part of a strong personal presentation – whether for job applications or your LinkedIn® profile. At ScieCon, you have the opportunity to have your photo taken individually and professionally by photographer Milton Arias.
To participate, please register at the btS booth (No. 1) for a fixed time slot and arrive about five minutes before your appointment at the photographer’s area. Your best photo will be selected on site, professionally edited, and sent to you by email in the days following the fair. On the day of the event, the photographer will ask you for your email address.
Tip: Choose an outfit in which you feel comfortable and that reflects your personality. Subtle clothing without noticeable logos helps to keep the focus on you and ensures an authentic, professional impression.

With his extensive experience, Dr. Alexander Witek will support you in a personal 25-minute consultation. He has been exactly where you are now: a scientist finishing a PhD and asking himself, “What comes next?”
After completing his doctorate, he spent 4.5 years in strategy consulting, followed by 10 years in three multinational pharmaceutical companies in commercial management, marketing, and sales – both nationally and internationally, with steadily increasing responsibilities. Today, he supports people as a life advisor, helping them navigate the questions others rarely ask – both professionally and personally.
At ScieCon, you can ask him about topics such as industry vs. academia, entering consulting, commercial career paths in pharma and biotech, whether to pursue a PhD, international careers, or taking a strategic view of your overall life path. What is currently on your mind?
