That is the motto of the btS Alumni. We are former btS students who are now in the workforce and would like to continue connecting with one another as well as with current btS students.
Upon completing their studies and entering the workforce, most btS members’ level of involvement changes—but this doesn’t mean they’re saying goodbye to btS!
Through our alumni program, we aim to create a space for exchange and collaboration among life sciences professionals, students, universities, and companies—even beyond the academic years. The guiding principle of personal and professional development for btS members who have now entered the workforce is a central element of our alumni activities.
Joint projects with btS students focus on questions about starting a career, tips and tricks for job applications, and career planning. Among themselves, alumni benefit from a great network for exchanging ideas on professional topics and gaining different perspectives.

The Alumni Council
The Alumni Council (AVert for short) represents alumni within the btS. Our responsibilities include leading, coordinating, and implementing the goals of the btS Alumni in collaboration with the students. The Council consists of 3 to 5 members who are elected for a one-year term by the Alumni Assembly.
