ScieCon is the career fair organized by btS e.V. and a unique platform that enables companies to make direct contact with highly qualified students, doctoral candidates and graduates from the life sciences sector. However, ScieCon is not only aimed at companies looking for young talent, but also at those who want to strengthen their brand as an attractive employer in the life sciences sector.
Our career fair represents a valuable interface between the industry and the university landscape and reaches a wide variety of participants from different areas of the life sciences – be it biochemistry, biology, biophysics, biotechnology, computer science, engineering, molecular biology, molecular medicine or pharmacy.
ScieCon offers you the opportunity to present your company at four renowned university and research locations in Germany – Berlin, Bochum, Frankfurt and Munich – and to establish a far-reaching presence.
With over 40 successfully organized career fairs, over 500 visitors per event and numerous partnerships, ScieCon has established itself as an important meeting place for companies and young professionals. Building on the success of previous fairs, we look forward to organizing two career fairs again in Berlin and Frankfurtin 2026.

ScieCon is regularly organized at four fixed locations in Germany: Berlin, Bochum, Frankfurt and Munich. To ensure a continuous presence in different regions, these locations rotate every two years. Two events are organized each year.

Our career fairs attract students, doctoral candidates and graduates from many different life science disciplines. These include degree programmes such as biochemistry, biology, biophysics, biotechnology, computer science, engineering, molecular biology, molecular medicine, pharmacy and many other specialized fields.
Depending on the venue and the universities or colleges represented there, the specialized composition of the participants varies. No two events are the same: Each ScieCon is characterized by its own dynamic and is distinguished by a unique diversity of academic backgrounds. This gives you the opportunity to get to know committed young professionals with a wide range of qualifications.
The visitors are at different stages of their academic and professional careers. In general, our ScieCons mainly attract Bachelor's and Master's students as well as doctoral candidates. A smaller proportion of visitors are already working professionals.
The majority of visitors use ScieCon specifically as a springboard for their professional career. They come with the clear intention of finding out about career opportunities and finding suitable options for starting or developing their careers.
