National Board
The national board of btS – Life Sciences Student Initiative e.V. is the governing body of the association. Its role is to manage, coordinate, and implement the goals of the btS. It consists of four to seven members, who are elected for a one-year term by the delegates' assembly. Although the national board acts as a team and thus works together in many areas, each board member has specific core competencies and responsibilities.

Coordination of ScieCon career fairs, supervision of the South-East Cluster and the Sustainability Working Group
Erik Schober
Coordination of nationwide collaborations, including our company database, support for the North-East cluster, working group collaborations, and the working group network (including VDSI and YEBN)
Marieke Leiber
Internal communication, support for the South-West cluster, logistics, and the marketing and training working groups
Georg Lehmann
Finance, supervision of the Finance Working Group, project funding, and member administration; contact person for legal matters and insurance
