ScieMatch - advantages for your company

Companies are shaped by their employees. The search for the right employees is therefore an important factor for the future of the company. You are probably also asking yourself how to attract the next life sciences talent or how to find the next talent on the market that fits the company.

But finding the right employer is also crucial for students to achieve happiness and success in their career. Especially in a field as broad as life sciences, it is difficult to get an overview and select the right employees based on qualifications, but also cultural fit.

For this reason, btS has launched ScieMatch, a career matching platform. A unique algorithm uses the preferences of students, doctoral candidates and post-docs to determine which companies are a good fit for them. The questions are designed to help find out which factors are particularly important to job seekers for their future job. These factors are specially selected and adapted for the life sciences so that a subject-specific selection can be made. If a match is made, both the job seekers and the companies have the opportunity to contact the other side and initiate a meeting.

ScieMatch therefore offers companies the opportunity to work with us, a non-profit association, to create real added value for students, doctoral candidates and post-docs in the life sciences by creating a platform that supports job seekers in finding the right employer for them. The platform can serve both employer branding and recruiting purposes, in line with the btS motto “Let Life Sciences meet you”!

Yes - at any time! Each time you edit the answers in your company account, the matches are recalculated and optimized for you. To modify the answers, simply log in to your company account and select “Edit answers” in the Profile tab.

btS offers a free ScieMatch basic account for companies. This does not incur any costs for the company. Use the full potential of ScieMatch and support btS in creating added value for life sciences students by booking our premium or standard package. These include, among other things, extended statistics functions and the use of active sourcing! No. ScieMatch provides an assessment of the fit. To do this, the matching engine queries the most important factors relating to job requirements and working methods on both sides based on current studies. The matching algorithm specializes in achieving a high score (“true positives”) for good matches.
