btS – Life Sciences Studierendeninitiative e.V. strives to make its website accessible to all users.

This accessibility statement applies to the website https://www.bts-ev.de.

Status of compliance with requirements

This website is partially accessible. It is based on the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at conformity level AA, insofar as this is feasible within the scope of technical and organizational possibilities.

As a registered association, btS – Life Sciences Studierendeninitiative e.V. does not fall within the scope of the Disability Equality Acts (BGG/BITV). This statement is therefore made on a voluntary basis.

Measures to improve accessibility

To improve digital accessibility, an external audit was conducted by Netzstrategen.

Based on the results, selected measures to improve accessibility were implemented, particularly in the areas of structure, usability and contrast.

The website will continue to be reviewed and optimized step by step.

Non-accessible content

The following content is currently not accessible:

• PDF documents that are not consistently accessible
• Embedded videos without complete subtitles or audio description
• Individual images and graphics without sufficient text alternatives
• Forms and interactive elements that are not yet fully operable via keyboard in all cases
• Third-party content and functions over whose accessibility we have no complete control
• Faulty links or pages that are temporarily unavailable

We are working to reduce these barriers gradually.

Creation of the accessibility statement

This statement was created on 5 January 2026. The evaluation of the website is based on an external accessibility audit by Netzstrategen and a supplementary self-assessment after implementation of the identified measures.
