Events organized by btS Lübeck

On November 26, 2025, a group of students went on an excursion to Euroimmun—an exciting day full of insights and interesting conversations. After traveling there together, the participants were warmly welcomed and provided with drinks and snacks. The day began with an informative presentation about the work at Euroimmun, followed by an introduction to btS.

During the factory tour, participants were given a fascinating glimpse behind the scenes: offices and laboratories, the warehouse, and production facilities were all on the agenda. Lunch together provided an opportunity to talk about everyday working life at Euroimmun in a relaxed atmosphere. The day ended with an interesting presentation on the topic of infection diagnostics.

We are already looking forward to the next joint excursion!

On November 11, 2025, we held our introductory meeting, where we, btS Lübeck, presented ourselves and our work. In a relaxed atmosphere, participants had the opportunity to learn more about our projects, events, and opportunities to get involved.

In addition to exciting insights, there was plenty of opportunity for exchange—whether about our activities or simply to meet new people. A cozy get-together with pizza rounded off the evening perfectly.

On July 9, 2025, we held our seminar “Secrets to a Successful Job Application” with A.S.I. Wirtschaftsberatung. The seminar focused primarily on self-presentation, what application documents are required, and how a job interview actually works. In addition to the wealth of input, we were also able to ask lots of questions and exchange ideas with each other!

Around 30 interested parties took part in our panel discussion on science communication on June 5, 2025, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere. Together, we discussed questions such as: How can I communicate my research in an understandable way? What should I pay attention to? And how do I deal with criticism?

What was particularly nice was that the audience actively participated, asked questions, and shared their own experiences, resulting in a genuine dialogue. The get-together that followed also provided an opportunity for pleasant conversations and initial ideas for possible follow-up formats.

It was a successful evening with exciting insights!

How can I present myself confidently? What is important for a convincing presentation? These and other questions were the focus of our rhetoric workshop with A.S.I. Wirtschaftsberatung on April 24, 2025. In practical exercises and interactive sessions, participants received tips on body language, voice, and presentation structure.

The relaxed atmosphere allowed participants to try things out right away and receive personal feedback.

The evening ended with a pizza party, where we enjoyed a cozy atmosphere and continued our conversations.

On January 16, 2025, we held our workshop on taxes for students in collaboration with A.S.I. Wirtschaftsberatung. Participants learned about the tax benefits they can take advantage of while still in college and how to best prepare for their first tax return. In addition to valuable tips and practical examples, there was also time for individual questions. The workshop concluded with a pizza dinner, where participants continued their discussions in a relaxed atmosphere.
