btS - Life Sciences Studierendeninitiative e.V. in Aachen - Your association for networking and career guidance

Aachen is located between the Netherlands, Belgium and the Rhineland metropolises. In a large university city that is so strongly influenced by mechanical engineering, the life sciences must not be neglected. That's why we at btS Aachen put together a diverse range of events for you every semester. With the help of our local and nationwide network, we always ensure that our career events give you the opportunity to make personal contact with companies.

Get actively involved with us!

Take the opportunity to get more out of your time at university and prepare yourself for the world of work while you are still studying:

• Learn how to communicate with companies.
• Gain experience in project management.
• Expand your network throughout Germany.
• Further your education in internal workshops on a wide range of topics.
• Benefit from the experience of our alumni within the mentoring programme.

Together, we also plan and organise exciting projects for students who are not members of the association, for example:

• Seminars on topics such as job applications and careers
• Lectures on various job profiles
• Excursions to companies and research institutions
• (Interdisciplinary) lecture series
