Would you like to learn more about btS and getting involved in the association? Then you've come to the right place!

btS is a non-profit, nationwide association in which students from the life sciences organize workshops, company excursions, and many other events for you. We at the btS office in Bayreuth were founded in 2006 by a handful of motivated students—we are currently a dynamic team from the departments of biochemistry and biology. We are open to all life science degree programs, such as biotechnology and life and health sciences.

Motivated and committed, we organize lecture series, company excursions in the field of life sciences, and continuing education workshops. We want to support you in making decisions about your future career path with lectures such as “Doctorate – yes or no?” or give you insights behind the scenes at popular companies. Our focus is not solely on biotechnology companies.

We usually meet every two weeks. You can find our current meeting dates on Instagram. You are also welcome to contact us by email.

We enjoy organizing our own projects, furthering our education through workshops, and looking ahead to our professional future.
