Life Science Food Trends of the Future

The Idea

The Future Food Conference is designed to give students, doctoral candidates and graduates the opportunity to learn about the trends in the life sciences and biotechnology that will have disruptive effects on the future of food and nutrition. Our digital symposium will highlight current developments and research through expert presentations and discussions. We invite speakers from established companies, innovative start-ups, academia, NGOs and freelancers to present their ideas and research. The talks will be divided into two different tracks: Deep Science and Curious Minds. No matter whether you are interested in overall ideas or the science behind them – we will have the perfect talk for you!

Furthermore, the event will highlight various career options that are offered by academia and the industry in this field. We are using the interactive platform Hopin, so you can get in contact with our speakers.

The Team

The btS is Germany’s largest student network in the life sciences. We are active at many German universities and connect students and doctoral candidates from all branches of bioscience. At the interface between students, universities, research institutes and industrial companies, our goal is to establish a stronger connection between these groups.

The digital format of the Future Food Conference allows members from Heidelberg, Frankfurt, Freiburg, Stuttgart and Saarbrücken to work together on this exciting event.
