National Board
The national board of btS – Life Sciences Student Initiative e.V. is the governing body of the association. Its role is to manage, coordinate, and implement the goals of the btS. It consists of four to seven members, who are elected for a one-year term by the delegates' assembly. Although the national board acts as a team and thus works together in many areas, each board member has specific core competencies and responsibilities.

Coordination of nationwide collaborations including our company database, support for the Cooperations Working Group, issues relating to sustainability and strategy, delegates‘ and members’ meetings and the btS Alumni, design of the association's weekly newsletter

Malena von Elling-Tammen
Organisation and coordination of the association weekends, support for the South-East Cluster and the department heads, Head of the working group on further education, the working group on networking, contact person for the Association of German Student Initiatives (VDSI)

Andrine Frank
Finance, support for the finance working group, project funding and member administration, support for the North-East Cluster, contact person for legal matters and insurance, support for the ScieMatch business and career matching platform

Norman Labedzki
Coordination of the ScieCons careers fairs, support for the North-West Cluster and the working group marketing incl. logistics

Vanessa Sturcz
Internal communication, supervision of the South-West Cluster and the IT working group including the homepage, the data protection working group and the support working group
